Where in the distance the river foams with the blood of the innocent
O how frail is human nature,
Once the stream of regrets fills the soul Like the current biting into old stone
And just like it grinds unbreakable rocks into fine sand
An unhinged mind it easily breaks
Even before the bride breathed her last breath
With woe she had already clouded your thoughts
